Bernie and Jaycee are family pets. I wanted to capture the unique features that I observe, such as Bernie's lopsided ears and the line going down Jaycee's spotted nose. Drawing pets that I personally know allow me to reflect their character into the art. I was interested in the blues and grey in Bernie's aged face, and the soft blues and yellows in Jaycee's white fur.
